Hi I'm Carol.  I created Candle Collective UK in 2018 after I moved from Edinburgh to Liverpool in 2016.  

​I began making candles after having the idea to 'scent my wedding day'. Scents can evoke such a reaction in your brain that it can instantly transport you back to a time, place or person so I really wanted to incorporate that into my wedding.   I began researching and testing different waxes , wicks, containers and oil blends until I was 100% happy with how they performed. I decided on soy wax because its vegan friendly, cruelty free, longer burning, sustainable and a much cleaner burn than some of its wax counterparts on the market. 

 I had my created candle  burning on the wedding morning whilst getting ready.  One was also burning on each table during the wedding breakfast.  People commented on the beautiful scent and even took them home! That scent is now part of my Signature Collection.   Rhubarb & Custard and will always take me back to that day.
